After a bit of discussion this morning, ( Saturday 9th January), the Kirk Session now think it would be unwise to go ahead and reopen the church next Sunday. Given how the national picture is looking just now, we feel it might be right for us to wait a while until the situation caused by the alarming surge in the new variant cases improves. The meeting of the Finance Committee , due to be held this coming Thursday evening 15th February to approve the congregational accounts for 2017, has now been rescheduled. It will be combined with the Management Committee meeting on Tuesday 20th February at 7.30 pm in the Macrae centre.
In view of the visit this evening of a group of Christians from Korea , the Praise group practice due to be held this evening has now been cancelled. We look forward to meeting our friends from Korea and having fellowship with them.

The beginning of this week looks busy for us here in Tarbert.
Tomorrow the Sacrament of Baptism will be administered at our morning service as Febin and Maggie Christopher take solemn vows on behalf of their little daughter Evelyn Lucy. The Congregation rejoice with Febin, Maggie and Evelyn’s grandparents Alasdair and Katie MacLeod Meavaig (South) and Febin’s parents Joseph and Lucy in Kerala India, and assure them of our prayerful support at all times.
