Open Prayer Meeting
One of the main focuses that we have is prayer within the congregation . We have looked at and talked about various ways in which prayer could be kept front and centre of Congregational life. And so with this in mind we hope to have a series of special summer prayer events, over the next while. These will be in the form of open, focused prayer meetings/ fellowships.The first one of these will be held tonight in the MacRae Centre on Tuesday the 4th of June at 7.30 Continue reading

Korean Visit
We were blessed at our midweek prayer meeting to have Pastor Sangin Lee and seven young adults from the new church in Seoul South Korea sharing in worship and prayer with us. We met this evening on a Thursday night for the visit of our friends from Korea. They cooked delicious hot noodles for some of the young people and some of the rest of us too! Continue reading

Our Favourite Psalms

Tonight – The Strong Name
Tonight at the prayer meeting we meet once again to bring before God our prayers and requests, our joys and thanksgivings, our needs and burdens believing that He hears and answers our prayers ( Psalm 65:2). This evening we continue our study of the Acts of the Apostles with a look at the Strong Name of Jesus ( Acts 3:16)
The Bible shows that there is healing in the name of Jesus , there is power in the name of Jesus, there is life in the name of Jesus. If there is anything that acts as a corrective to wrong attitudes or thinking, and if there is anything that helps us re-focus and re-group as Christians it is surely the strong name of Jesus Christ.
