The Lord is my Shepherd

‘The Lord’s my Shepherd; I shall not want ‘

This morning we look at the wonderful personal relationship David the psalmist has with the God he knows as the Lord his Shepherd’

This is the time of year when the sheep are most dependent on the Shepherd. After a hard winter, and the lambs are due to arrive, the sheep need the shepherd more than ever. When times are tough, when food is scarce when conditions are harsh, and predators plentiful, the sheep need the Shepherd. Does this mirror our dependence upon God right now?
