Farewell to Alice and the Boys
Last Sunday at our Harvest Thanksgiving Family Service, we bade a fond farewell to Alice Meaden and her boys Fraser and Innes.
Alice, Neil, Fraser and Innes are moving as a family to Uig in the near future , as Alice is now the Gaelic Medium teacher in Uig Primary school. We will miss Alice and the boys who have really brought life to the crèche during the past year. They leave us with many happy memories, and we will miss them very much.
We wish them all as a family God’s rich blessing in Uig, and we are also glad to hear that they are contributing to a resurgence in the school roll in Uig with a healthy intake of nine pupils this year.
Our crèche is available every Sunday morning to allow parents to attend the service, and continues to be well used , and a blessing to the wider congregation who are encouraged to see young life in the church. We are also very thankful to the dedicated team of volunteers who look after the crèche each Sunday morning.
