The youth club spent two evenings with Christina Piazza making a Harris tweed wreath for Remembrance day.
The young people enjoyed making this and are very grateful to Christina for giving up her time to help them.
The picture below shows Christina with the young people – Neil, Abbie, Scott, Ruth, Callum, Hannah and Amy (missing is Sean) and the finished wreath. They hope to use the wreath on Friday 10th November at the remembrance service at Sir E Scott School and hope to have it in church on Saturday for the armistice service as well.
The Annual Community armistice day service will be held in the church on Saturday 11th November. Those intending to be present are asked to be seated by 10.40 AM.
