The stated purpose of the worship sub-committee is simply to assist where possible with the development of worship within the congregation.   Historically as in other congregations in the church of Scotland, the minister has the final say in the way worship is conducted in the congregation. However the establishment of a worship sub-committee is recognition of the contribution that can be made to the conduct of worship, by many others in the congregation. We have sought to develop worship in the congregation through encouraging wider participation in worship and praise in various ways. These include the establishment of a choir to help lead congregational praise, the running of a Gaelic psalmody class  the development of a praise band and praise nights. The praise group meet to practice during the week and will be happy to see new musicians come along to join them.
